Reactive Programming with Spring Reactor

Duration (in days):

2

Reactive Programming with Spring Reactor

Description:

To achieve maximum use of the underlying hardware and to minimize latency, Spring has built a framework based on Functional Reactive Programming. Spring Reactor requires a change of programming style. In addition to the transition from imperative to a declarative programming style, the developers have to master parallelism and a reactive programming style.

Objectives:

  • Learn how to think functionally

  • Learn how to maximize parallelism

  • Master Flux and Mono

  • Understand how reactive programming is different

  • Understand how Spring Reactor optimizes the use of the internal resources
